Because each item is made from wood, you might notice some charming quirks like natural cracks, chips, knots, and other unique blemishes. These little imperfections add to the special character of your piece, and while we work hard to keep your design looking great, they’re part of what makes your item truly one-of-a-kind.
PERSONALIZED DETAILS – Simple word changes within the design are typically free of charge. For more extensive modifications to our standard designs or special custom requests, please submit them for approval at least 3 days before your event. If approved, a $25 customization fee will apply.
Since each project is unique and involves a lot of time and personalization, we’re unable to offer refunds. If you can’t make it to a workshop, feel free to pass your spot to a friend or family member, or request for your project to be a take-home kit. Just a heads-up—if you don’t show up and haven’t let us know, we’ll have to keep your payment and project.

Please note that the following terms apply specifically to our workshop reservations. Once your order has been placed, we begin the process of production immediately. Due to all of our projects being made to order, we are unable to offer refunds. If you are unable to attend our workshop, kindly provide at least 48 hour notice of cancellation. Your reservation may be transferred to a friend, a family member, or be requested as a Take Home Kit. We will hold your Take Home Kit for up to 30 days. Please note that if you do not show up without notifying us, we will retain your payment and project. Hammer & Stain reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
